Parties and receptions at Childerley
The Long Barn at Childerley has hosted a myriad of parties with guests numbering anything from 80 to 600. Parties have ranged from 21sts to 50ths, from ceilidhs to Venetian masked balls. It has also been an exceptional venue for music with performances by The Jackie Dankworth Band, The Eduardo Nieblo Experience, Opera East, the Fairhaven Singers and Collegium Regale to name but a few. Cabaret has also been a highlight with Kit and the Widow and Opera Works bringing the house down with laughter. And our guests have rocked the night away dancing to bands such as Billy Franks, the DC Brown Trio, or discos and DJs
Dinners, lunches, receptions, pantomimes, dances, opera, musical performances are all possible in the Long Barn.
The Chapel can provide an intimate setting for a dinner party or lunch for up to 24.
The Gardens are a magical setting for summer evening receptions and pre-dinner drinks.

The event team
The event team between them have many years experience of event organisation, and have excellent contacts for equipment hire, musicians, florists, photographers, etc.
The on-site building team is able to offer its services to help with build-up requirements.
