Weddings at Childerley
We understand that you want your wedding to be the most perfect day. While we can’t promise you perfect weather, Childerley can offer you a unique setting with its magnificent gardens, Elizabethan Chapel and stunning barn.
Gardens
The Gardens are a wonderful mix of romantic roses, elegant lawns, mature herbaceous borders, and shady orchards, set against a backdrop of an Elizabethan House, a private Chapel and a small lake. Your guests will be charmed by its hidden delights of unexpected paths leading to secret arbours, water-features, garden sculpture and fish ponds. Your wedding photographs will be set against the most magical of backdrops whatever the season.
The Chapel
The Chapel can seat up to 60 comfortably for an intimate blessing, with its balcony overlooking the lake giving breathtaking views of the extensive gardens.
Long Barn
The Long Barn can accommodate any number up to 500 seated, screened off to your requirements. It has proved itself to be an excellent venue for the wedding after party, and the adjacent Courtyard provides a wonderful outdoor environment for those warm summer evenings.
Civil Wedding and Partnerships
The Long Barn, and the Courtyard Loggia have all been registered for use for Civil Wedding and Partnership ceremonies.
The Long Barn has a dedicated area for upto 100 seated guests however there are other areas of the barn which are licensed upto 300 plus guests.
If you are wanting your ceremony to take place in the sunshine then the Courtyard Loggia is the place to be! Decorated in an Italian style with up to 10 guests seated in the Loggia with up to 200 guests looking on from the grassed courtyard decorated with troughs of seasonal flowers.
Ceremonies in the Long Barn for up to 120 guests start at £390 plus VAT.
Catering
The superb Movable Feast at Childerley are able to cater to your every need, offering exceptional menus and service tailored to your individual taste and budget. We are able to recommend a selection of wines suitable for every occasion.
The event team
The event team between them have many years experience of event organisation, and have excellent contacts for equipment hire, musicians, florists, photographers, etc.
The on-site building team is able to offer its services to help with build-up requirements.
